ArtsMemphis seeks partners to raise $56,000 for the creation of an Artist Fund.

Supporting artists and making Memphis a City of Choice.

Goals

To fill a critical funding gap for artists; when artists cannot find funding or work they often have to stop working or relocate to another city; which hurts a city's vibrancy and economy.

To involve the greater community in raising awareness of the needs and value of artists through matching grants, grant panels and voting.

Grant Programs

+ ArtsAssist Grant

Small grants under $1,000 designed to bring a project to another stage of marketability and success.

+ ArtsMatch Grant

Crowd sourced matching grants designed to ignite new art projects involving creation, exhibition and/or performance in Memphis. ArtsMemphis will match 1:1 donors' contributions for projects up to $10,000 total.

A Web site will be created through ArtsMemphis.org where artists and audiences can interact, promote themselves and discover new resources.
