Arts Build Communities (ABC) is an annual grant program funded by the Tennessee General Assembly and administered by ArtsMemphis in cooperation with the Tennessee Arts Commission (TAC).
ABC grant applications are available in July, and awards are made in October. The grants offer financial support for projects in all arts disciplines recognized by TAC, including dance, music, opera/musical theater, theater, visual arts, design arts, crafts, photography, media arts, literature, interdisciplinary and folk arts. Grants funds are available for Shelby, Fayette, Lauderdale and Tipton counties. Applicants must be state-recognized, not-for-profit 501(c)3 organizations or government entities.
