The funds from these three arts license plates support our local arts community through the Tennessee Arts Commission. Stop by our office at 575 South Mendenhall or send us a picture of your car with an arts plate and you will get a complimentary ArtsMemphis membership including an ArtsCard, redeemable for 2-for-1 tickets to many venues across the city!

How does a license plate make a difference?

Did you know that more than 70% of state funding for the arts comes from the sale of specialty license plates? Specialty license plates cost $35, and the Tennessee Arts Commission receives $31.75 of every sale - a portion of which is directly invested in ArtsMemphis. No other state in the country brings in arts revenue from license plate sales, and Tennessee remains the leader in arts support across the nation!

Tennesseans for the Arts

Tennesseans for the Arts (TFTA) advocates for state funding for the arts and presents a strong, statewide unified voice in support of the arts.
